Installation Guide for 06-08 Dodge Ram Headlights
THIS GUIDE IS FOR
NOTE: Some vehicle require the DRL harness installed for the headlight to function properly.
Do NOT use dielectric or any type of weather sealing grease on connectors or sockets.
Doing so will result in connection problems and will not be covered under warranty. Please click HERE for further explanation.

INSTALLATION TOOLS
1/4 Ratchet
Metal Panel Popper
Phillips Screwdriver
Flat Screwdriver
Pliers
1/4 Extension

PART I - REMOVE HEADLIGHTS
DISCONNECTING THE NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Whenever working on your vehicle always start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal.
FRONT GRILLE REMOVAL
Remove front grille by removing bolts and plastic retainers.
REMOVE HEADLIGHT BOLTS
Remove the 2 X 10mm bolts from the headlight
Inside the wheelwell (locate the black round rubber grommets).
Remove the grommets so you have an open space to remove 1 x 10mm nut.
REMOVE HEADLIGHTS
Remove headlight by pulling it toward the front of the vehicle.
UNPLUG CONNECTORS
Unplug the 2 connectors and remove the headlight.
Now that you have removed a headlight, please follow the same procedure for the other headlight.
PART II - INSTALL HEADLIGHTS
INSTALL ALPHAREX HEADLIGHTS & DRL HARNESS
With both headlights disconnected, now it’s time to install the DRL harness. You will need to connect the red wire to battery’s positive terminal, the black wire to battery’s negative terminal.
TAP THE FUSE
Tap the grey wire to the front fuse box (into the fuse). We would suggest using a fuse tap that you can pickup from any autopart store. If you have a yellow wire connector on the DRL harness, wire and connect that to the driver side headlight. You will only need to connect to one side.
Lastly, run the last red wires to the headlight. (one for each side)
CONNECT HEADLIGHT PLUGS
Plug the 2 connectors to the headlight and perform headlight adjustment.
Please follow the same procedure for the other headlight.
ADJUST HEADLIGHT LEVEL
When making adjustment, try doing it in 360 degree increments.
FOR PRO / LUXX SERIES HEADLIGHTS
FOR NOVA SERIES HEADLIGHTS
CW = Clockwise
CCW = Counterclockwise
Please follow the same procedure for the other headlight.
COMPLETE INSTALLATION
When you achieve the correct light output level, complete reinstalling the headlights in the reverse steps.
